Dear Editor:

Boothbay Region High School’s children's holiday fund committee would like to thank the Lions Club, Bayview Lodge, Rotary Club and community members for their generous support to the children's holiday fund. Without these contributions we would not be able to meet the growing needs of our families.

The increasing cost of living has put a burden on so many families here in the region that they have had to make difficult choices for their holiday needs. Monetary donations make a huge difference for our families in need.

It is heartwarming to live in such an incredible community. Thank you to our local organizations for their continued support and commitment each year to our holiday fund program.

We will continue to accept donations at the school until Monday. Dec. 19.
