Saturday, Sept. 2 is the second annual Sunrise Lighthouse Photography cruise aboard the Balmy Days (Pier 8, Boothbay Harbor) and hosted by professional photographer Michael Leonard. Tickets are available by going to the website, www.balmydayscruises.com, and clicking on the appropriate tab to reserve and buy a ticket.

Leonard will be helping people to make their best shot of the local lighthouses while bathed by the low angle rising sunlight.

“Most lighthouses in Maine face easterly and to catch the morning light from the ocean makes for the best shots of the area lighthouses,” said Leonard

The cruise leaves at 6 a.m. and will be back to the dock by 8 a.m. – just in time to have a breakfast in town.
