4 – Southport Fourth of July Parade – Parade begins at 8 a.m. at Southport Memorial Library, 1032 Hendricks Hill Road. Includes a Carriage Parade for dolls and real babies; kid carnival. Parade ends at Southport Central School on Route 27, location of the carnival. FMI: Medea at 350-9142.

27 – CANCELED - Pemaquid Oyster Festival - From noon to dusk: music, educational exhibits, boat rides, and lots of oysters harvested fresh from the Damariscotta River that morning. 14- Gardens Aglow - The holiday lights of the season light up for another season. Due to COVID-19 viewing will be from cars. 28 – Santa Comes to the Boothbay Common – Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at the Common on Route 27 around 6 p.m. aboard a fire truck to visit with the children and hear their Christmas wish lists. Hot cocoa and cookies, too.
