Stunned

Dear Editor:

I was stunned to hear last week that Tricia Campbell was not selected as the new principal at Boothbay Region Elementary School. It is a glaring example of our schools being destroyed from within. Decisions are being made by those that have no connection or commitment to our community.

This decision was short-sighted, disrespectful and petty. Tricia knows this community. She has built strong relationships with students, staff and parents. Our school and community can not afford to lose an educator of her quality and character. I implore people to take back your school and community.
