The Arthur Hale Veasey Memorial Regatta, now in its 79th year, was held at Spring Cove, Squirrel Island on Aug. 17. The Veasey family holds the regatta every summer in honor of its founder, Arthur Hale Veasey, who began the tradition on the island during World War II.
