Thanks to five consecutive years as a TripAdvisor “Award of Excellence” winner, Spruce Point Inn begins the 2019 season as a member of the TripAdvisor “Hall of Fame.” The peer-curated review site has received more than 1,000 reviews for Spruce Point Inn, the majority 5 stars to the resort.

Continuous improvements to the 57-acre property during the off-season meant the resort opened to strong demand, enhanced by Spruce Point Inn’s new partnership with the BENCHMARK Gemstone Collection that began in March. Also new for 2019 is a relaxed atmosphere in the inn’s 88 restaurant. Resort casual attire is now welcome (adults and children age 8 and up). The 88 menu remains focused on local fish, farm and harvest sources. In Bogie’s, the menu now includes more shared plates, craft cocktails and local microbrews with the goal of making Bogie’s the social center of the resort.

To underscore the idea that Spruce Point Inn is for locals as well as visitors to Maine, the inn is introducing a “Friends of Spruce Point” program that offers access to special offers and events as well as discounts on dining, spa services and select spa products. There is no cost to join this program and you may sign up at sprucepointinn.com/friends

“Boothbay has always been very good to us,” commented General Manager Cindy Mastrella. “The Inn is part of the Midcoast’s history as a destination for those who love Maine; but we’re part of local history, too and want to say ‘thank you’ to the locals who are part of the Spruce Point family. Identifying someone as a Friend of Spruce Point helps us ensure that we can give back to those who support Spruce Point Inn and Boothbay.”
