Spencer-Austin wedding

    Sarah Elizabeth Spencer, daughter of David M. Spencer of Dresden and the late Lisa Tavenner Spencer (daughter of Priscilla and Thomas Tavenner of Sawyer’s Island, Boothbay) and Daniel Thomas Austin, son of Faith Huntington of Farmingdale were married August 6, 2016 at Sarah’s grandparents' home on Sawyer's Island in Boothbay.

    The officiate was Sarah’s grandfather, Thomas W. Tavenner Sr. Kaisha Muchemore was the maid of honor, joined by bridesmaids Emily Boccia and Kimberly Austin. William Austin and James Austin served as best men, with groomsman Brian Parise. Isabelle Austin served as flower girl alongside her brother Ethan Austin who was an usher. William Spencer and John Tavenner also served as ushers. Ann Tavenner helped coordinate the couple’s special day.

    Mrs. Sarah Austin is a 2009 graduate of Hall-Dale High School, and a 2013 graduate of University of Maine at Farmington. She owns a digital and social media management business in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she works as a website designer and social media manager.

    Mr. Daniel Austin is also a 2009 graduate of Hall-Dale High School, and a 2013 graduate of University of Maine at Farmington. He is currently enrolled at Harvard Law School and will graduate in May 2018.

    The couple took their honeymoon the week after the wedding in Anguilla, British West Indies thanks to a wonderful family friend who offered her home there for them to use. They reside in Cambridge, Massachusetts with their cat Piper and dog Katie.
