Mon, 11/12/2018 - 5:00pm

    Dear Editor:

The Railway SPOOKtacular Committee would like to thank all who attended the Railway SPOOKtacular on Friday, Oct. 26 at the Boothbay Railway Village. Although the temperatures were frigid, it was a wonderful night full of family fun that brought smiles to hundreds of faces. We would not have been able to host this event for the community without the support of countless volunteers, which included BRES and BRHS students and adults of all ages. Special thanks to John and Cathy Orne, Bruce Bowler and Chuck Vaughn for making train operations possible. Finally, heartfelt thanks to the following businesses and organizations for your support:

Boothbay Harbor Apparel, Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library, Big Al's, Blue Heron B&B,Boothbay Harbor Framers, Inc., Boothbay Region Information Center, Boothbay Sea & Science Center, Brady's Restaurant, BRHS Project Graduation, BRYMCA Child Enrichment Center, Cameron Clan Kettle Corn, Campbell Construction, Compass Rose Events, The Cutting Edge, East Boothbay General Store, Flagship Inn, Hannaford Boothbay Harbor, Hodgdon Vessel Services, Howard House Lodge B&B, Janson's Clothing, Lot Dogs, Pier 1 Pizza & Pub, Pinkham's Gourmet Market, Ports of Italy, Sea Glass Spa, Sherman's Books & Stationery and Sweet Bay.

Selected by popular vote, BRYMCA Child Enrichment Center had the winning trick-or-treat display at Railway SPOOKtacular.

We look forward to making memories with you again next year!
