Dear Editor:

My wife and I moved to this community 28 years ago. It has been our home ever since. I lost her on March 22. The support and outpouring of affection that has been received during this most difficult 5 months has been overwhelming.

The people of this beautiful town have shown me more comfort than one could ever expect.

I have received too many cards and calls to respond to all individually.

In particular, our great police department has been unbelievable in their kindness.

I realize once again how special this place is.
