The Southport Planning Board will not have a regular monthly meeting in January as there are no applications for building permits that require board attention. However, the board will be holding a workshop to discuss various sections of the Southport Land Use Ordinance to allow board member to become more familiar with key sections. The discussion will be educational in nature.

The meeting will convene at 5:15 p.m. in the Southport Town Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

As with all public meetings of the board, the public is invited to attend. Current masking and social distancing guidance will be in force. Anyone interested in attending the workshop should visit the planning board page on the Southport town website and download a copy of the Land Use Ordinance as a reference.
