Four Southport incumbents were the only candidates who returned nomination papers by the Jan. 6 deadline. Town Clerk Donna Climo reported she along with Selectman Climo Smith, school committee member Kathy Tibbetts and Boothbay Region Water District Trustee Gerry Gamage returned papers with the required minimum 25 registered voters’ signatures.

All four offices are for three year terms. The municipal election is Monday, March 7.
