1-7 - Boothbay Harbor Fest - the sixth annual celebration of the region. Music, food, Fishin’ For Fashion Show, A Taste of Local Flavor, The East Side Vibe, 5K and Half Marathon. For details: visit www.boothbayharborfest.com

1 - 5K and Half Marathon - 8 a.m. to noon; 5K course winds through one of Boothbay Region Land Trust’s preserves. Half marathon course offers water views – inner harbor to open ocean, to lakes and tidal rivers. 7 - Fishin’ For Fashion Show - The sensation returns! From 5 to 7 p.m. at Ocean Point Marina, East Boothbay. Designers debut original designs made exclusively with materials from the marine industry, from tarps and fishing line, to shrink wrap and lobster traps. Local merchants also hit the runway with their unique wares. Local students help produce the show. The event mission: to celebrate local merchants, talented designers and Mainers who dedicate their lives to preserving our working waterfront. Proceeds benefit  BRHS’s Project Graduation
