Dear Editor:

Cameron Reny represents our needs. She is fighting to make medical services available and affordable. As a member of the Health Coverage, Insurance, and Financial Services Committee she is working to make prescription medicine obtainable and more affordable. Cameron proposed and got passed LD 1829, taking meaningful steps toward drug affordability.

Affordable housing is an urgent issue for us. As a former public school teacher I taught for ten years in a community where housing was beyond my financial means. Cameron has sponsored bills like LD 724 to make housing affordable to our workforce. She knows that if people can’t live nearby, they can’t work here.

Cameron is running for re-election to continue the work she has started in affordable healthcare, real action to address climate change, housing, and much more.

Please take the time to vote on Nov. 5. Every vote is crucial. I am proud to support Cameron Reny for State Senate District 13.
