Maine's First Ship extends sincerest thanks and best wishes during the holiday season to all of our dedicated supporters. Our next scheduled event is our second annual New Year's Eve Party and Auction in Bath. Please join us for four hours of family friendly fun!

Maine's First Ship will celebrate New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, 2014, from 6 to 10 p.m. with music, light refreshments, a roaring bonfire at the shipyard on the Kennebec, to raise funds for the construction of Virginia.

Henry & Marty's Restaurant will supply light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar starting at 6 p.m. and Orman's Seafood Chowder will be served at 7 p.m.

Earl Bigelow and The Cilantro Trio will supply music inside the Bath Freight Shed from 6:30 to 8 p.m. with at silent auction running from 6 to 9 p.m. A live auction will be from 8 to 9 p.m.

The price is $20 per person. Tickets are available by calling Maine's First Ship at 207-443-4242, or can be purchased at the Saturday morning Bath Farmer's Market at the Freight Shed, or purchased at the door.

Virginia's shipyard is located on the riverfront side of the Bath Freight Shed, 27 Commercial Street, Bath.
