Chloe Arsenault scored four goals and Cortney Meader added two in the Boothbay Region Seahawks’ 6-0 win over the visiting Telstar Rebels Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 9. Lexi Lane had two assists while Riley Sullivan and Maren Whitney each had one assist in the Class C field hockey game.

Boothbay dominated play, getting 14 penalty corners to Telstar’s one, and the Seahawks had 19 shots on goal while the Rebels, who finished the season winless, had only four shots on goal.

The win came on Senior Day, as BRHS seniors Lexi Lane, Riley Sullivan and Madison Barter were recognized during a brief pregame ceremony. The victory on the last regular season game gave Boothbay a 5-9 record. As of press time, the Seahawks were seeded in eighth place in the final tournament spot in Class C North. If the seedings stay as published, Boothbay will travel to Winthrop for a quarterfinal match. Boothbay lost to Winthrop (13-1) at home, 6-0, on Saturday.
