The Boothbay Region High School boys varsity basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 71-38 win over the Mt. Abram Roadrunners in Salem Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Boothbay was led in scoring by Hunter Crocker with 23 points, followed by Steve Reny with 19. Adding 10 points was Kaleb Ames. Crocker led Boothbay in rebounding with seven.

The Seahawks scored 57 points in the middle two quarters while the Roadrunners could only manage 12 during those 16 minutes.

Mt. Abram (0-3) was led by Kenyon Pillsbury with 12 points.

Boothbay will next host Monmouth Academy (1-2) on Friday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.
