At Madison on Friday, May 9, the Boothbay Region High School girls tennis team lost, 4-1, to drop to 2-3 on the season.

First singles player Laura Chapman got the Seahawks’ only victory, shutting out Jade Young, 10-0.

In second singles, Amara Buja defeated Hannah Kreft, 10-4.

Kylee Foss defeated Izzy Andreasen, 10-3, in third singles.

In first doubles, Rylee Gordon and Audrey Dillingham defeated Abby Orchard and Maddie Andreasen, 10-8.

Sabelle Pinkham and Lilli Gelo defeated Ivory Cody and Addie Barter, 10-4, in second doubles.

Boothbay is scheduled to host Winthrop Monday, May 14 at 4 p.m.
