The Boothbay Region High School cheerleading team will be competing at the MPA Regional Cheerleading Championships on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1:18 p.m. at the Cross Insurance Center 515 Main Street, Bangor.

According to BRHS coach Michelle Barter, the team hopes to perform their routine during halftime of the boys basketball game on Thursday, Jan 30.

Championship tickets are available online through GoFan. There will be tickets available at the venue for those that do not purchase them in advance, although it is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance. This year the top eight teams from each region will be eligible to advance to the State Championship taking place on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Augusta Civic Center.
