    Men’s Night, sponsored by the Boothbay Register/Wiscasset Newspaper and local businesses, drew shoppers looking for those last-minute gifts. It was also a time for gathering with friends at eateries and bars. Here are some scenes captured by our man on the street and in the businesses, Steve Edwards.

    Businesses scheduled to be open included Boat House Bistro, Cannery, China By the Sea, Coastal Maine Popcorn, Cutting Edge Salon, Eventide Specialties, Footbridge Brewery, House of Logan, Janson’s Clothing Store, Mung Bean, Nathan’s Apothecary, Oasis Nail Salon, Sherman’s, Slick’s, sweet bay, and Two Salty Dogs.
