Santa Claus will make his annual trek to Boothbay on Saturday, Nov. 26. He’s scheduled to arrive at the Boothbay Common on a fire engine at 6 p.m. to meet with children on the gazebo.

To keep everyone warm while they wait for Santa’s arrival, Bay View Lodge will be providing cookies and hot chocolate. And to get everyone into the Christmas spirit, local disc jockey Calvin Crocker will be playing Christmas music from 5:30 p.m. until Santa’s arrival.

Boothbay Fire Chief Dick Spofford said if the weather is bad, the event will be held at the Boothbay Fire Station.
