The St. Dominic Academy Saints outscored the visiting Seahawks, 41-26, in the middle two quarters and went on to win, 67-48, in Auburn Monday night, Jan. 20.

“We played well. They were just physically superior,” said Seahawk coach Dan Hallinan.

The Saints, now 12-1 in Class D South, were led by Jack Broke with 19 points followed by Jonathan Tangilamesu with 13 points, Donel Tangilamesu, 10, and Isaac Yombe, 10.

Tyson French led the Seahawks, now 4-10, with 17 points. Peyton Barter scored 10, Les White, seven, Aidric Canada, six, and Braden Davis, five.

The Seahawks travel to Oak Hill on Wednesday, Jan. 22 to face the Raiders (3-10).
