Safe at Home Solutions to discuss home safety for older and disabled adults
The second in a series of Safe at Home Solutions at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center in Damariscotta, with Bridges staff members, will be held on Friday, August 24, at 10 a.m.
In this session, lead by Bradley Smith, Bridges human resources/ personnel specialist, participants will learn about safety for older and disabled adults. Smith will discuss how crucial the ergonomic setup of one’s home is to facilitating a safe environment and one’s ability to age in place.
Register for Smith’s workshop by calling 563-1363. This is your opportunity to learn about simple home-based solutions to furniture and durable equipment locations that can help one age in place. For community members who missed Bradley’s first presentation please ask about the medication management system that is now available to make dispensing medications much easier for consumers and caregivers.
