Sacopee Valley proved too much Sept. 20 for Boothbay in eight-man football, as the Hawks soared to a 60-22 victory. Sacopee is now 2-1 in southern conference action. Boothbay is 0-3.
Boothbay and Mt. View are the only winless teams in the southern conference. But that will likely change Sept. 28 as the Seahawks host the Mustangs at 1 p.m. at Sherman Field.
