Rotary Barn re-opening April 3
The big gray Rotary Barn Sale opens this coming weekend! Winter sure went fast this year and already it is Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club Barn Season. The official opening is this Saturday, April 3 at 8:30 a.m. Be there to help us celebrate, 55 Montgomery Road, Boothbay Harbor. The current plan is to be open every Saturday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. selling furniture, collectibles, tools and household goods. So come join us! It’s a lot of fun. You might get a chance to meet new people and take home a special treasure. Masks are required.
We didn’t take donations for the barn all winter because of the andemic, but we are ready now. We need your donations, especially flea market items, books, rugs, kitchenware, lamps, pots and pans, etc. We are also taking tools and collectibles. We even have room for some furniture. So, when you start, or continue, your spring cleaning contact Deb Graves at 207-380-3550 to schedule a pick up or delivery. Oh, we take boats too. We currently have several boats to sell. They will be on display this weekend at the barn. The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club is a 501(c)(3) organization and all your donations are tax deductible.
After our first very successful year selling directly from the Rotary Barn we have decided to continue our support of community programs through our weekly sales instead of our big annual Auction, usually held in August. The pandemic has been a challenging time, but the Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club is committed to our mission of service. All proceeds from sales at the Rotary Club Barn support local and international non-profit programs and institutions. We are also proud of our support of our local Rotary Interact Club at Boothbay Region High School and our yearly donations to the Boothbay Region Scholarship Fund, all made possible by your purchase of furniture, a lamp, a boat or anything from the Rotary Club Barn. So do good, buy often at the Rotary Club Barn.
