Dear Editor:

I would like to add to your column regarding Route 27.

From my personal experience, traveling up and down that route for doctor visits, etc., I have seen people driving all the way to the right edge or over to the middle line in order to avoid the potholes - and have done so myself. Even some attempts to fill the potholes is not working. As a matter of fact, I had to replace a rim and a tire driving home recently at great expense due to the road conditions.

Where are our taxes going? If not for our safety.
