Raburn sentenced
Jeremy Raburn, who in March was accused earlier in the year of two counts of unlawful sexual touching, has pleaded guilty to both charges.
Raburn, 43, of Boothbay, pleaded guilty May 2 to the counts of unlawful sexual touching, and was sentenced to six years in prison with all but two years suspended and eight years of probation.
Raburn will also have to register as a sex offender and is prohibited from having contact with any girls under 16 years old, unless supervised.
Raburn is also prohibited from contacting the minor and several of her family members. He will also have to submit to random searches and must complete counseling and treatment.
Charges stemmed from an August, 2012 report from the Department of Health and Human Services, which the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
Raburn was then arrested in December, 2013.
