In an Oct. 30 special meeting, the Boothbay Planning Board unanimously approved a request to add another property line to a 94 Meadow Cove Road property. Joseph Paolillo sought approval to split two of his three lots. The property includes three plots. Paolillo told the board during the zoom meeting conference he wanted an additional boundary line to divide plots 1 and 3. “There’s been a change in the setback requirement. When we bought it, the setback was 150 feet from the property line and now it’s 250,” he said. 

Code Enforcement Officer Jason Lorrain reported two abutters had questions about the application, but no objections. A third abutter, Susan Dey, attended the zoom meeting to offer her support to Paolillo’s request. “I’m only here for support,” Dey said when the board asked for abutters’ comment. 

The board meets next at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18.
