Peter Gardner named new business development officer
The Bank of Maine has announced that Peter Gardner has joined the bank as business development officer for the Boothbay Harbor region. Gardner will be responsible for driving growth across the banking platform in this important part of the state.
Gardner joins The Bank of Maine from KeyBank where he was vice president and branch manager of KeyBank’s Boothbay Harbor branch.
“We are delighted to have Peter join us. He has been deeply involved in the Boothbay Harbor community for many years. He will greatly assist The Bank of Maine in sustaining and increasing its commitment to the Boothbay Harbor area” The Bank of Maine Chairman and CEO John W. Everets said.
“I am thrilled to take on this role at The Bank of Maine,” Gardner said. “We have great opportunities ahead of us and I look forward to utilizing my previous community involvement and banking experience to better serve Maine’s communities.”
Gardner is a resident of Boothbay Harbor. He has previously served as president of the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the St. Andrews Hospital Board of Trustees. Gardner was also a member of the board of directors of the New England School of Banking and a former president of the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library.
