We had 27 plungers in Linekin Bay, East Boothbay on Jan. 1 and raised just over $1,000, thanks to the plungers and those who donated. A thanks to all of them along with Boothbay Fire Department and Boothbay Region Ambulance Service for all being there supporting this event, which helps fund free swim lessons for our local 2nd grade students.
