Over 30 chances to win in Lions’ Christmas Raffle
Tickets for the Boothbay Region Lions Club's “Twelve Days of Christmas” raffle are now on sale. Over 30 great prizes are available through the generous donations of local businesses and individuals. All proceeds will support Lions Club charitable activities here in the Boothbay region.
The unusual twist to this fundraiser is that every day after the drawings, the winning tickets will then be returned to the pot for another chance to win other days’ prizes. In other words, it’s possible for one ticket to win lots of prizes. The actual drawings will take place December 1 through 12. There are two or more prizes available each of those days.
Tickets for the raffle are $5 each. They may be purchased from any Lion, or go to the Boothbay Region Lions Club's Facebook page for more information. Remember, the more tickets you purchase, the better your chances are to win, and the more you have helped people in the Boothbay area through the Lions Club's charities.
There’s a wonderful variety of prizes this year, including a one year adult membership to the Boothbay Region YMCA. Of course, fundraisers like this could only be possible because of the generous support of the following individuals and businesses. They include: Mark Jones, A Silver Lining, Wanser's Natural Market, Harold Bishop Insurance, Good 'N You, Lisa Tilton, Karen’s Hideaway, Tom Peaslee’s Trees, Casual Interiors, Capt. Fish’s, The Pantry, Allison Evans Ceramics, Oak Street Provisions, Rocktide Inn & Restaurant, G & G Towing, Irving, Hammond Lumber, The Opera House, Boothbay Collision and Auto Body, Mung Bean, Eames Hair Salon and the Boothbay Region YMCA.
