This year's 2012 Dough Ball Silent Auction offerings include: a manure fork donated by Grover’s Hardware; a gift certificate to Fisherman’s Wharf; personal training sessions with former National Football League player Ethan Brooks; handmade rag rugs donated by Wendy Bellows; original artwork by Rick Dickinson; five-course whiskey tasting dinner donated by Under Currach Tavern; Spanish lessons with margaritas and guacamole with Patricia; a night out with Mrs. Robinson donated by Robinson’s Wharf; a luxury two night getaway at the Greenleaf Inn; a kitchen or bath design consultation donated by Knickerbocker Design; three course dinner with wine donated by the Thistle Inn; a post-Christmas dump run donated by Grinch Trucking Services; a basket of good stuff donated by Eventide; a print and gift certificate donated by Boothbay Harbor Framers; and perhaps more to come.

The Dough Ball will be held Friday, Dec. 14 beginning at 7 p.m. Only ticket holders may bid on the silent auction items. The Friends of the Opera House will have a selection of gift packaged baked goods for sale as well. Advance tickets are $20 and are available through the Opera House box office at 207-633-5159. Tickets purchased on the day of the party are $30. All proceeds benefit the Opera House.
