Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences is hosting its annual open house on Friday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bigelow Laboratory is located at 60 Bigelow Drive in East Boothbay, Maine. The open house will include demonstrations by Bigelow scientists, plankton tows, hands-on science experiments, a lab-wide scavenger hunt, marine microbe-inspired crafts, and much more.

This event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required. Children of all ages are welcome, but must be supervised by an adult at all times. No pets are allowed. The Laboratory is handicapped accessible and parking is available on site.
