It was a ride to remember for a Boothbay Region Elementary School kindergartner.
Olivia Carlson arrived at school Nov. 6 aboard a Boothbay Fire Department truck. The young lady received the honor by winning the Boothbay Fire Department’s raffle during the department’s Oct. 6 open house.
Joined by her brother Gavin Carlson, a fourth grader, she rode the fire truck from the Boothbay fire station. The truck had a Boothbay Harbor police escort.
