Fishing fanatics, wait no longer!
Oak Street Outdoors opens Saturday, May 18 in Boothbay Harbor. Owner Doug Roberts said he wanted an outlet to provide everything for the fishing enthusiast, including fishing rods, tackle and live bait.
Roberts referred to May 18 as a “soft opening,” to showcase some of his store supplies, but he also said he plans to rent and repair bicycles, and sell an assortment of smoking woods and barbecue briquettes during the summer.
“It should be fun,” Roberts said. “I will also have catalogs available for anyone to get supplies shipped within 3 to 5 days.”
The new business is next door to Roberts' main store, Oak Street Provisions, and is open for business as of 7:30 a.m., Saturday, May 18.
