Dear Editor:

Oregonians are repulsed by what is going on in Portland. In Oregon, only seven counties out of 36 are blue, so it is just mob rule, and much the same applies everywhere else in this country. The true Marxists are actually a very small portion of America, and even of traditional Democrats.

It is inconceivable to me that Trump does not know this, and that he is doing nothing about it. I am confident that he has large numbers of undercover agents collecting all kinds of incriminating evidence of federal offenses against the organized Antifa/BLM leaders who illegally cross state lines to commit crimes, and that he will suddenly lower the boom by making very selective legal arrests in the tent cities where they sleep about two weeks before the election. Don’t forget, he is a showman first and foremost, and he actually relishes situations like this, where he can turn the tables on them by using their own tactic of “never letting a crisis go to waste.”

Restoring order at just the right time will be a “can ’o corn” for Trump given the resources at his disposal, especially all those special forces who live and breathe for this kind of action. There is no way that Trump will allow his country to devolve into another Venezuela or Argentina, not while he is still in office.
