March 21 is the due date for nomination papers for Boothbay Harbor board and committee seats.

Town Clerk Michelle Farnham said a few people have already turned in theirs; others have also taken out nomination papers.  Three incumbents, Denise Griffin, Ralph H. Welch and Henry “Ted” Tedeschi Jr. have returned their papers. Griffin, chair of the select board, seeks a place on the board again. Welch looks to retain his seat as a Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Cemetery District trustee, and Tedeschi Jr. is running again for his seat as a Boothbay Harbor Sewer District trustee.
