Dear Editor:

Thank you, Jane Carpenter, for writing such an enlightening story telling our community about the Hall Funeral Home traditional candle-lighting ceremony for those of us who lost loved ones this year.

Thank you, Mike Hall, your family, and your very caring crew, Lynn and Harold, for bring all of us together to share our feelings in such a meaningful service.

To be able to light a candle for our Penny was so moving as it was for all others who were there lighting candles for their loved ones. To be able to light additional candles for those family members and friends who are with in in spirit was so helpful.

Thanks for having the Rev. Maria Hoecker from St. Columba' s part of the ceremony. Her words of encouragement are always so supportive. Dee and I appreciated being included in such a family tradition.
