The Community Center would like to invite you on Monday, Dec. 23, at 2 p.m. for the raffle of the beautiful “Billis'watercolor”! Come early to enjoy a cup of coffee, delicious treats, and great company, and don't miss your last chance to buy raffle tickets.   

What a wonderful way to end one year and start the next — by giving some of your time as a volunteer! The Community Center is looking for volunteer drivers and volunteers to host at the center. We are still in need of dedicated volunteer drivers for our People Helping People Program! Most rides are within the Boothbay Region, with occasional trips to Damariscotta or Brunswick. We are also seeking volunteers to welcome our regular and new guests. If you are friendly, outgoing, and a good listener, this opportunity is for you. Whether you can spare a couple of hours once a week or every other week, every bit helps make a difference in our community. Your kindness can brighten someone’s day! Interested? The Community Center is currently collecting winter gear. If you have any coats, mittens, or sweaters in good condition, please consider donating them. We’ll make sure your donations benefit those in need within our community. Thank you for your generosity! 

Join us for puzzles, games, coffee, tea and treats from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday this week! Help us enjoy our snacks without overindulging and bring your ideas. We welcome new faces and hope to see you soon!
