The Boothbay Harbor Community Center invites you to two amazing tours: The Owls Head Transportation Museum on Wednesday, Nov. 13, departing the Community Center at 9 a.m. Explore with us Maine's rich transportation history. Come marvel at vintage automobiles, aircraft, and other fascinating vehicles that tell the story of how we’ve moved through time; Christmas at Victoria Mansion Tour on Tuesday, Dec. 4, departing the Community Center at 9 a.m. Renowned for its architecture and remarkable original interiors, it stands as one of the most significant historic homes of the nineteenth century in the country. Join us for Qigong on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and for our dance sessions on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Regular Qigong practice can help alleviate anxiety, depression and more, while dancing boosts cardiovascular health, muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility. Don’t miss out on these energizing classes!
Fresh vegetables are available every Friday morning, generously donated by the Town Village Food Bank and Veggies to Table.
Our schedule for Nov. 11 through Nov. 15:
Monday: Closed/Veterans Day
Tuesday: Mahjong 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; QiGong 11 a.m.-noon
Wednesday: Cribbage 12:30-2 p.m.; Ladies who love to dance 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Thursday: Mexican Train Dominoes 10 a.m.-noon; Cribbage and Mahjong 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Friday: Scrabble, Rummikub and Bridge Noon-2 p.m.
The Community Center is currently collecting winter gear, so if you have any coats, mittens, or sweaters in good condition, please bring them to us. We will ensure they are put to good use. Thank you for your generosity!
