Wow!  It’s the beginning of March; 2024 is flying by way too quickly. Tax preparation, St. Patrick’s Day, my birthday … Happy Birthday to all March babies!

On Tuesday, March 5, VIP (Visually Impaired Persons) will meet at 1:15 p.m. here. They are excited to have Mary Ellen Barnes, who recently retired as Executive Director of Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission, as their guest speaker. While Mary Ellen is “retired,” she is definitely keeping busy. All are welcome to come listen to this vibrant woman.

Tax time is upon us!  Time has come to make appointments.  If you would like help with your taxes, open season has started with Midcoast Ca$h. We’d be happy to make an appointment for you.  Midcoast Ca$h will be holding two days of free tax preparation, Saturday, March 2, and Tuesday, April 2, at the Boothbay Town Office, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are a must. If you’re interested, we will help you with the sign-up process at The Community Center.  Alternatively, you can make your own appointment by calling 207-295-6340 or 207-751-3756; or email midcoastcash@uwmcm.org, or visit the following website: www.eznetscheduler.com/calendar/midcoastmaineCASH.
