We are overwhelmed with incontinence supplies – especially men’s XL Depends. Also, we have lots of sterile bandaging supplies. If you need either of these items or other medical supplies, please stop by The Community House Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All medical supplies and incontinence supplies are free.

Our semi-annual Lobster Raffle Fundraiser is rapidly approaching. On June 30 we will be blind-drawing a winning ticket for a bucket of lobsters – 10 of them, free to a lucky winner. Raffle Tickets are available at The Community Center Monday – Friday and Thursday at the Farmers Market. Come check us out. Here’s the bargain! If you buy one ticket for $10, you have a chance of winning 10 lobsters. If you buy three tickets for $20, you triple your chances of winning 10 lobsters! Yummy! All lobsters are donated by Atlantic Edge lobstermen. And another good thing – you don’t have to be present to win. We will contact you!

And, how about walking with us in the Windjammer Parade for The Community Center on June 28! We will have our famous antique truck to show off. If this opportunity intrigues you, please give us a call at 633-9876.

We extend a hardy welcome to all our summer residents and visitors. Please drop in for a cup of coffee and a chance to chat with local people who are happy to share their knowledge of the region. You might also play a game of Cribbage, or Mah-Jongg, or Mexican Train Dominoes, or work on a puzzle. You most certainly will find a good book to read.

Sneak Preview: We will be closed on July 4th (and maybe July 3rd…) Puzzles, coffee, tea, goodies, and good camaraderie are always available all week long. Please save us from eating too many goodies ourselves. Summer is here! And we are always looking for fresh ideas!
