News and Notes from The Community Center

Mon, 10/11/2021 - 8:00am

There is a resident of the Center who has survived the pandemic in fine form. He is the one lone fish in the fish tank. During the past year all of his neighbors have crossed the rainbow bridge and he has just gotten bigger and healthier. He knows when we are in the building and shows himself to ask for food. He is a very happy fish.

We think it is time to give him a name. He is a guppy-like thing of no particular color. He is a survivor. We do not think he has been vaccinated and he definitely does not wear a mask. It could be that being under water is the safest place to be.

Please do us a favor and Name The Fish. You may submit your suggestions on our Facebook page or by calling the center at 633-9876.

As the trees put on their beautiful Fall colors and the nights turn cooler we are still watching the numbers and electing to stay closed just a while longer to keep our people safe and healthy. We hope to open soon and it will be great to see everyone again.

In the meantime, if you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to call The Center and leave a message. We check the line everyday. 633-9876.
