New Sunday school year at Congregational Church
A fresh exciting year of Sunday school starts this Sunday morning, Sept. 11 at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor. Children start upstairs in worship and, following a special message for and with them, Sunday school takes place in the freshly renovated classroom space.
The Sunday school program is led by Education Director, Magen Chryplewicz, and uses an interactive scripture based curriculum called "Whirl" in an open classroom setting. All children through grade six are welcome.
A special "welcome back" potluck luncheon will follow worship and Sunday school.
Additionally, both youth groups, middle school and high school, led by Youth Coordinators Anna Marden Adams and Tory Paxson, will start up again on Sunday afternoon with a trip to the beach. For more information, visit the Sunday school and/or Youth Group Facebook pages or call the church office, 633-4757.
