Rachael lives in Jefferson with her husband and two children, and teaches art and gifted and talented at Jefferson Village School.

Her work is done in watercolor and consists mainly of animals such as fish, shellfish, and birds. She gets her inspiration from fishing in both Maine and Florida; her family's farm, and her parents' home in Little Deer Isle.

She and her husband both attended the University of Southern Maine and received degrees in art education and fine arts, respectively, and her daughter is attending USM pursuing a degree in art education.

Rachael has previously had work shown at Rising Tide Gallery and Pope Memorial Humane Society.
