On Tuesday, Jan. 6, from 10 to 11 a.m., get out on the trails for a guided walk with the Boothbay Region Land Trust at the Penny Lake Preserve.

The BRLT's Nature Hike series meets throughout the year and visits a different preserve each time for a moderately paced hike averaging two miles in length. Discover the preserves throughout the seasons and meet some fellow hikers.

This event is free and advance registration is not required. Group meets at trailhead parking lot which is in Boothbay Harbor off of Route 27. Turn off of Route 27 between the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce and the Flagship Inn and proceed past the Carousel Theater to the BRLT parking area.
