For the second straight year, Hannah Hills led us in a National Moment of Remembrance at the Boothbay Harbor Marina.
The National Moment of Remembrance asks Americans wherever they are at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day to pause for one minute and remember those who have died in the military service of the United States.
Hannah played “Taps” on the bow of Sewall Maddock's boat Collector. This year Dr. Douglas Long also joined in the Remembrance as he played “Taps” simultaneously from the east side of the harbor at the Boothbay Lobster Wharf.
We are grateful to Hannah and Doug for leading us in honoring our fallen heroes.
