Molly C. Levin
Molly Cohen Levin of Naples, Fla., and Boothbay Harbor, died peacefully on December 5, 2013 surrounded by her family.
Molly faced life with characteristic, practicality and a wonderful sense of humor. Her death at age 72 was a journey filled with adventure, passionate interest, countless friendships and time with family whom she loved and adored and considered her greatest gift and legacy.
Molly was born May 24, 1941 to Allan “Al” and Esther Cohen in Beaver Falls, Pa. She grew-up in East Liverpool, Ohio and graduated East Liverpool High School. Later she graduated from Ohio State University in speech science and received a master’s degree in education from Lake Erie College.
She taught speech and hearing in Dayton and Painesville, Ohio and in later years at Hershey Montessori School in Concord, Ohio.
Molly is survived by her husband, David, of Naples, Fla., and Boothbay Harbor; son, Corey (Amy) Dubin of Gahanna, Ohio; and daughters, Jenny (Josh) Brisker of New Albany, Ohio and Amy B. Dubin of Portland, Ore. She is also survived by her “second children,” Stephanie (George) DiPaolo and Michael (Taya) Levin; and grandchildren, Isabella and Miranda DiPaolo, Joshua and Emily Dubin, Lex and Ava Levin and Shoshanna Bricker.
Besides her parents, Molly was predeceased by an infant brother.
At her request, remember to laugh and laugh some more, find new adventures every day and that the glass is always half-full as you take your journey through life. Services were held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 8. Interment is at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Solon, Ohio.
