Megan Closson, a 2007 graduate of Boothbay Region High School, married Brendan Gill on Aug. 29, 2015, at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Boothbay Harbor.

The two were married by Father Frank Murray. The reception was at Fisherman's Wharf. The bride and groom live in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

The bride’s parents are Wayne and Mary Closson of Boothbay Harbor. The groom’s parents are Edward and Mary Gill of Chelmsford.

The two are 2011 graduates of Salem State University, where they met. Brendan has a bachelor's degree in economics with a pre-law minor. Megan has a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Megan is a municipal auditor at Melanson Heath & Company PC in Andover, Massachusetts. Brendan is a real estate consultant at Structure Consulting Group in Arlington, Massachusetts.

The maid of honor was Amanda Babcock (bride's best friend). The co-best men were Mark Gill (groom's brother) and Tim Cooper (groom's best friend).

Bridesmaids were MaryKate Amos (groom's sister), Joyce Chagan (childhood friend), Kelsey McVay (college friend), JoAnna Shaw (bride's cousin), and Amy Tooker (childhood friend)

Groomsmen were Michael Closson (bride's brother), John Leary (childhood friend), Patrick McCabe (groom's cousin), Thomas McCabe (groom's cousin).

The flower girl was Maggie Amos (niece). The ringbearers were Sean Amos and Brian Gill (nephews).
