Seaside Lodge #144 A.F. & A.M. bestowed its 2015 Mason of the Year award posthumously upon Brother Richard G. Dexter after his passing this past November.

Bro. Dexter was a 20-year member of the Lodge and served as senior steward, junior deacon and finally as Lodge treasurer for 11 years. He was a dedicated member of the Lodge with an unrivaled attendance record and an infectious enthusiasm. Always there to greet a fellow member and help and encourage new brethren, Bro. Dexter’s contributions to Seaside Lodge were numberless.

It is his Masonic brethren’s fervent hope that the plaque, which will hang in the Lodge room in Bro. Dexter’s honor, will serve as motivation for other members of the fraternity.
