Marlene "Fraser" Cioce has passed away after a brief struggle with cancer. She was 86 years old.

Fraser was a snowbird for many years, traveling from Florida to Boothbay every summer where she delighted in running the day to day operations at the Abacus Gallery and entertaining her many friends and customers with stories of her adventurous life. She was a graphic artist by trade and had a lifelong love of all things creative and it showed in everything she did.

Fraser is survived by a small but very loving family who included her children Heather, Jimmy and Elizabeth; her granddaughters Allison and Ashley; and her great-grandchildren Kinley and Kaleb. She also loved her son-in-law Eric and her grandson-in -aw Sean and her sweet Tom.

Fraser will be sorely missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her throughout her life.
